Soyatech Website Expands News and Intelligence for the Soybean and Oilseed Industries

BAR HARBOR, ME, APRIL 24, 2007 – Soyatech, LLC has announced the launch of its newly enhanced website,, which includes free access to its extensive industry database, comprehensive soya and oilseed facts, and online ordering capabilities.

“This project has been in planning, design and development for more than a year,” said Soyatech general manager and marketing director M. Denis Hill. “The Soyatech team has dedicated many hours to making the new site more functional, and we believe our current users as well as those new to the site will be very pleased with its robust content and ease of use.”

The newly designed site offers convenient access to many features including the Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Online Edition, online ordering of publications, a comprehensive collection of soya and oilseed facts, a calendar of industry events, and the opportunity to sign up for free subscriptions to Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Online Edition, Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Print Edition, Soyatech eNews Daily and Soyatech eNews Weekly.

A cornerstone of the site is the Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Online Edition, which enables users to search for listings of producers, processors, suppliers and vendors to the soybean and oilseed industry.  The industry’s most comprehensive and functional directory, this online database resource is free with site registration.

Another new feature is “The Store @,” an online system where visitors can order the Soya & Oilseed Bluebook Print Edition, syndicated reports (with immediate electronic delivery), Soya Summit proceedings, audio CDs and other resource material.

The new Soy and Oilseed Facts section of the site offers a mini-encyclopedia of information on growing, processing and product use. Constantly being updated, this repository contains useful introductions to soybean and oilseed products including soyfoods, biodiesel and ethanol; and soybeans and other oilseeds including canola, corn, coconut, cottonseed, peanuts, rapeseed, sunflower and oil palm. Additional topics include the Oilseed Glossary, and a Soy and Health Facts section, which also covers trans fats. Industry webmasters are encouraged to link from their own websites to these pages to provide expanded content.

The site describes the range of products and services Soyatech offers. The Research & Consulting section describes syndicated market reports, consulting and advisory services and custom research. The Services segment describes the many free and paid opportunities for exposure to the industry through the Soya & Oilseed Bluebook, Soyatech eNews and Soya & Oilseed Summit events.
